Paul David Steely

Paul David Steely, 68, of North Charleston, South Carolina, husband of Deborah Kerry Steely entered into eternal rest Sunday, December 8, 2024. His Funeral Service will be held Monday, December 16, 2024 in the J. Henry Stuhr Inc., Northwoods Chapel, 2180 Greenridge Road at 11:30 am. Interment will follow at Carolina Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Sunday, December 15, 2024 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm in J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Northwoods Chapel.

Paul was born September 6, 1956 in Charleston, South Carolina, son of the late Kenneth Steely and the late Edna Scott Steely. He loved Clemson football and collecting sports memorabilia and was an avid shopper. Paul had a huge heart and most of all loved his family and friends.

In addition to his wife of 23 years, he is survived by children: Kelly Higgins (James) of Moncks Corner, Laura Smith (Naomi) of Goose Creek, Shawn Bergeron (Laura) of Summerville, Nathan Bergeron of Charleston, Kerri Dawson (Kevin) of Moncks Corner; grandchildren: Emily King (Walker), Sara Higgins, Owen Smith, Hartford Bergeron, Edna Smith, Livingston Bergeron, Ruby Smith, and Easton Dawson; great grandchildren, Alora Smith; siblings: Starr Kittrell (Tom) of Reevesville, SC, Ken Steely, Jr. (Susan) of West Palm Beach, FL and Tony Steely of James Island, SC. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brother, Jimmy Steely.
