Entered into eternal rest on the morning of May 8, 2012, Paul Semon Slesinger, husband of Phyllis Cohen Slesinger. Residence, Charleston, SC. The relatives and friends of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Semon Slesinger are invited to attend the funeral services of the former, Wednesday, May 9, 2012 at the graveside in Brith Sholom Beth Israel Cemetery, "Maryville", at 10:00 a.m.

Mr. Slesinger was born June 25, 1929, in Bishopville, SC, the son of Morris Slesinger and Anne Michalove Slesinger. He served with the United States Army and retired from Montgomery Ward. He was a member of Brith Sholom Beth Israel Synagogue, Jewish War Veterans and Mended Hearts.

He is survived by his wife of Charleston, SC; one son: Jerold Slesinger of Charleston, SC; one daughter: Harriet Slesinger of Charleston, SC; 2 sisters: Marilyn S. Hartman of West Palm Beach, FL and Yvonne S. Tillem of Atlanta, GA; numerous nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by a sister, Rita S. Goldstein.
