Paul Michael Powers, 82, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, husband of Pamela Hope Powers entered into eternal rest Thursday, March 24, 2022. His funeral service will be held Monday, March 28, 2022 in J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Mount Pleasant Chapel at 11:00 a.m. Entombment will follow at Mount Pleasant Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Sunday, March 27, 2022 in the Mount Pleasant Chapel from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m.

Paul was born November 12, 1939 in Staten Island, New York, one of seven children of the late Daniel Powers and the late Rachel Fredericks Powers. He had a long sales career in mortgage and real estate. Paul had a Century 21 firm and worked for Evergreen and New Brunswick Savings Bank. He was a member of The Church of Life Park. Paul loved studying the Bible and ministering. He wrote poetry and enjoyed traveling and boating in his free time.

Paul is survived by his wife of 45 years, Pamela; three sons: Shane Powers (Linda), Travis Powers, all of Keyport, NJ and Daniel Weick (Marc Naids) of Stockton, NJ; daughter, Cynthia Weick of Charleston, SC; four grandchildren: Kaitlyn Powers, Sean Powers, Kimberly Powers, Kayla Powers, Timothy Weick and Madeleine Weick; four great-grandchildren: Wesley Powers, Ila Powers, Sadie Powers and Layla Didonenico and two sisters: Barbara Weinsenburg and Judy Revre. He was predeceased by siblings Ginger Ovar, Don Powers, Pat Roach and Daniel Powers.
