Paul Frederick Nocida

Paul Frederick Nocida, 46, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, husband of Julia Downs Nocida entered into eternal rest Wednesday, February 24, 2021. A private memorial service will be held March 13 at J. Henry Stuhr Inc., Mount Pleasant Chapel, 1494 Mathis Ferry Road.

Paul was born December 13, 1974 in Wheeling, West Virginia, son of Domenick Nocida and the late Jaunita McKinney Nocida. He graduated from West Virginia University with a degree in chemical engineering and earned his MBA at Wake Forest University. Paul was the operational excellence manager at MWV Specialty Chemicals division/Ingevity for ten years. Most recently he was the owner and principal consultant for his own business, Nocida Solutions.

He is survived by his wife, Julie Nocida of Mount Pleasant, SC; father, Domenick Nocida of Wheeling, WV; brother, Nick Nocida (Corinne) and their son, Cole Nocida of Wethersfield, CT; parents-in-law, Charles and Wanda Downs of North Augusta, SC; aunts, Mildred Short, Mary Jo Smith (Keith), Francis Currey, Catherine Flint (John), and Grace Maston; and uncles, James McKinney (Sharon) and Louie Nocida (Joyce Carr); and many cousins.
