Paul Wayne Cooper

Paul Wayne Cooper, 74, of Ladson, South Carolina, husband of Sarah Helen Forbes Cooper entered into eternal rest Wednesday, May 21, 2025. His memorial service will be held Saturday, May 31, 2025 in the J. Henry Stuhr Inc., Northwoods Chapel, 2180 Greenridge Road at 2:00 pm . The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Northwoods Chapel.

Paul was born July 5, 1950 in Dallas, Texas, son of the late Paul Carlton Cooper and the late Juanita Bell Sehested Cooper. Paul dedicated 22 proud years serving his country in the United States Navy, exemplifying honor, courage and commitment throughout his military career. Beyond his service, Paul found great joy on the golf course. Paul was also a longtime "friend of Bills" and his recovery journey was a cornerstone of his life.

In addition to his wife of 27 years, he is survived by children; Doug Cooper, Brian Cooper, Brandy Lunsford, Megan Leavitt, and Stacie Fandel, sisters; Mary Stevens and Carol Scott; many grandchildren, nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Carl Cooper.
