Paul Gabriel Ammon, 78, of Isle of Palms, South Carolina, devoted husband of Marilyn P. Ammon died Thursday, January 19, 2017. His Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, January 23, 2017 in the Stella Maris Roman Catholic Church, 1204 Middle Street at 12:00 noon. Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR, INC. Paul was born January 22, 1938 in Sewickley, Pennsylvania, son of the late George Ammon and the late Marie Wentzel Ammon. He served in US Navy.

In addition to his wife of nearly 57 years, Marilyn, he is survived by his son, David Scott Ammon of Charleston, SC; his daughter, Carolyn McIntyre (Andy) of Waxhaw, NC; granddaughter, Shelby Frazer; his three brothers, George, Hank, and Jack; and his sister, Virginia.

He was preceded in death by a son, Chris, and two sisters, Mary Jane and Doris.
