Patsy Jones Tuten

Entered into eternal rest on the morning of September 7, 2011, Patsy Jones Tuten, beloved wife of Frank Walker Tuten of North Charleston, SC. 

The relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Services in Ashley River Baptist Church, Saturday, September 10, 2011 at 1:00 PM.  Burial will follow in Riverview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at J. HENRY STUHR, INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, Friday, from 5:00 till 7:00 PM.

Patsy was born on September 19, 1931 in Anderson County, South Carolina, daughter of the late J. D. Jones and Ruth Latham Jones.  Patsy retired as the owner and operator of Pat's Beauty Nook.  Following retirement, Patsy worked as a receptionist for several companies to include Dr. John F. Rink, J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., and the Lewis Smoak State Farm Agency.  She was active in many teaching and ministering positions at Brentwood Church and Ashley River Baptist Church.

Surviving are Pasty's husband; two step-daughters, Kathi Hill and Lyn Saylor, both of Lexington, SC; three step-grandsons, four god-children; several nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her son, Patrick Tuten and a sister, Jean Greenway.

Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the Ashley River Baptist Church, 1101 Savannah Hwy., Charleston, SC  29407 and/or Heartland Hospice, 1064 Gardner Road, Suite 204, Charleston, SC  29407.
