Patrick Maury Shelton, 48, of Hilton Head Island, SC, died Wednesday, February 28, 2018. His funeral service will be held Saturday, March 3, 2018, at Northwood Baptist Church, 2200 Greenridge Road at 12:00 pm. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Patrick was born April 15, 1969 in Honolulu, HI, son of Billy Ray Shelton and Emma Lee Norcross. He received his B.A. in accounting from the College of Charleston, began his career with "T"-Bonz Restaurant Group and continued in the hospitality industry. He lived on Hilton Head Island where he loved the beach, enjoyed outdoor activities and playing golf. He enjoyed time with his three children. Patrick was funny with an odd sense of humor and was very outgoing. He laughed a lot and had the ability to make others laugh. He was a longtime member of Northwood Baptist Church.

He is survived by his parents, Billy and Emma Shelton of North Charleston, SC; two sons, Patrick M. Shelton, Jr. and his wife, Sarah, of Wilmington, NC and Phillip Oliver Shelton of Raleigh, NC; daughter, Paige Shelton of Charleston, SC; brother, Andrew "Drew" Shelton of Summerville, SC. Patrick is also survived by his fiancé, Sharon Rogers of Hilton Head Island, SC.
