Patrick James Rogers Jr., 78, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, husband of Elizabeth Rogers died Sunday, August 11, 2013. A Memorial Celebration will be announced later. Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR INC., MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL.
Patrick was born January 6, 1935 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, son of the late Patrick J. Rogers Sr. and Gladys Doering Rogers. He graduated from Iowa State University and was a retired owner of Valley Equipment Company of Dayton, Ohio.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Elizabeth Rogers of Mount Pleasant, SC; two daughters, Susan R. Stringer and her husband, Bob of Talbott, TN, and Meggan Maureen Rogers of Mount Pleasant, SC; two sons, Kevin Patrick Rogers of Charleston, SC, and Timothy Troup Rogers and his wife Cathy of Mount Pleasant, SC; one granddaughter, Hope Rogers of Mount Pleasant, SC; two step grandchildren, Robert Stringer and Kari Howard both of Dayton Ohio and two sisters Judith Rogers and Katie Rogers both of Milwaukee, WI.
