Patrick Pat Nero

Patrick Michael Nero, 73 joined his loving Wife in enernal life Monday November 30,2015. Patrick "Pat" was born August 20, 1942 in Derby, CT to Patrick Joseph Nero and Margaret Lorriane Lique Nero. He was the eldest of two children. Patrick was a retired Senior Chief in the United States Navy, he spent 26 years serving our country.

Pat was a cherished husband of Violet "Dolly" Lepri Nero who he was a happily married to for 39 years. He leaves behind and will be deeply missed by his baby sister Denise Nero DeLucca and husband Raymond of Northford, CT; Four children: Henry T. Nero and wife Jan of Phenix, AL, Sheryljean LaPord and spouse Anthony Rivers of Vance, SC, John P. Nero and wife Paula of Cylde, TX, Kelliann McLaughlin and husband David of Summerville, SC. Pat was known as Poppi to ten grandchildren; Taylor B. Nero, Anthony M. Rivers, Wayne A. Rivers, Savanna F.Nero, Haley M. Nero, Levi J. Nero, Allison M. Graham, Skylar R. Nero, Kyle R. McLaughlin, Raelin K, McLaughlin, and one Great Granddaughter Kaelyn Violet- Rae Graham.

He was proceeded in death by his Soulmate and wife Dolly, and Mother Lorriane, and Father Patrick.


The family will have a viewing open to friends and family from 5-6 p.m., followed by a short service, in J. Henry Stuhr, INC., Northwoods Chapel,
