Patrick Michael Koepenick, 28, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, died Tuesday, June 10, 2014. The relatives and friends of Patrick are invited to attend his Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, June 16, 2014 in St. Benedict Catholic Church, 950 Darrell Creek Trail at 11:00 am. Prayers of Final Commendation and Farewell will follow in Mount Pleasant Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Sunday, June 15, 2014 in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL from 5:00 to 7:00 pm where a Christian Wake Service will be held at 7:00 pm.
Patrick was born on July 19, 1985 in Silver Spring, Maryland, son of Glen "Chip" J. Koepenick and Kelly Gibbons Koepenick. He was a Real Estate Agent. Patrick graduated from Bishop England High School where he earned All-State honors as a wide receiver on the football team. He then went on to graduate from the College of Charleston majoring in Physical Education. Patrick's magnetic personality could light up any room. He loved all animals especially his two dogs Callahan and Cyrus whom he rescued. He loved music, golf, the beach, boating, the Washington Redskins and his Irish heritage. He will be sorely missed.
He is survived by his parents of Mt. Pleasant, SC; one grandparent, Betty Koepenick Crosby of Washington D.C., three brothers, Sean (Kathryn) Koepenick of Boston, MA, Christopher (Heather) Koepenick of Mt. Pleasant, SC, and Brendan Koepenick of Mt. Pleasant, SC; one sister, Stacey Koepenick of Mt. Pleasant, SC; three nephews, Max Koepenick, Rory Koepenick, and Aiden Motyll; one niece, Lila Koepenick and many aunts, uncles and cousins
