Patrick Joseph Gorman, II

Patrick Joseph Gorman, II, 78, of Isle Of Palms, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest Wednesday, March 2, 2016. His Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Stella Maris Roman Catholic Church Saturday, March 12, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. Interment will be private. Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR, INC. MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL.

Patrick was born January 17, 1938 in New York, NY, son of the late Patrick Joseph Gorman and Mabel Shaw Gorman. He was an entrepreneur and philanthropist. He enjoyed reading, golf, swimming, and skiing. He was a charismatic and generous man. He was an active member of Stella Maris Roman Catholic Church on Sullivans Island, SC and St. Mary's Catholic Church in Annapolis, MD.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Inge Rita Gorman; 2 sons, Patrick Joseph Gorman, III (Cheryl) of Annapolis, MD, Ryan Charles Gorman (Nina) of Santa Marta, Colombia; 2 daughters, Christa Ray Gorman (Lawrence Conlan) of Lafayette, CO,Victoria Gorman (Gregory Karr) of Salt Lake City, UT; 5 grandchildren, Maggie, Michael, Brigid, PJ, Maya; 2 brothers, Thomas Gorman and Martin Gorman; a sister, Maura Wallace. He was preceded in death by a son, Michael Patrick Gorman (Mary) of Fernandina Beach, FL.
