Patricia Ann Blume Taylor Vogt, 73, of Charleston, South Carolina, wife of Conrad E. Vogt, Jr. entered into eternal rest Thursday, March 19, 2015. Her Funeral Service will be held Sunday, March 22, 2015 in J. HENRY STUHR, INC. WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway, at 3:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Live Oak Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Saturday in Stuhr's West Ashley Chapel from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Patricia was born July 30, 1941 in Charleston, South Carolina, daughter of James Lewis Blume and Gerdean Dantzler Blume. She attended St. Andrew's Parish High School and worked in the hospitality industry. Patricia was a retired courier at Restorative Arts and Dental Lab. She was also an avid animal lover. Patricia was a member of Ashley River Baptist Church.
In addition to her husband, Conrad, of Charleston, SC, she is survived by her children, James Lewis Taylor of Charleston, SC, Johnny Melanaphy of Augusta, GA, and Dr. Sharon Piper (Bill) of Nashville, TN; four grandchildren, James, Jason, Jeremy, and Andrea; and eight great-grandchildren.
