Patricia Ann Mellard Riner, 83, of Charleston, SC widow of William Harley Riner entered into eternal rest Saturday, April 11, 2020. Her private graveside service will be held Saturday, April 18, 2020 in Live Oak Memorial Gardens, 3093 Ashley River Road. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. West Ashley Chapel.
Patricia was born April 12, 1936 in Charleston, South Carolina, daughter of the late Walker S. Mellard and Pearl Walters Mellard. She was a retired Home Health Care Licensed Practical Nurse.
She is survived by her children, William H. Riner, Jr. (Teresa) of Chattanooga, TN, Debra Riner Gruber (Michael) of Charleston, SC, Lori Ann Riner Mcclearen (Victor) of Lewisburg, TN, Tonia Cummings (Bill) of AK and Chris Riner (Charlene) of MI; sister, Clare M. Wheeler of Charleston, SC; ten grandchildren, Jonathan Gruber, Jeremy Gruber, Jacob Gruber, Jenna Gruber, Matthew McClearen, Breanna McClearen, Spencer McClearen, Ashley Riner, Matthew Huber, Steven Riner and seven great-grandchildren, John McClearen, Abraham McClearen, Hosea McClearen, Hadassah McClearen, Ezekiel McClearen, Aiden Gruber, Addison Gruber. She was preceded in death by her son, Joseph T. Riner.
