Patricia Anne Butsch Quinn
October 28, 1938 — February 17, 2017
Patricia Anne Quinn, 78, of Charleston, peacefully entered into eternal rest on February 17, 2017. Pat was born in Albany NY, 28 October 1938 to Alfred and Mary Butsch, she was the fourth of five children. The Butsch family moved to Louisville KY, where she attended Sacred Heart Academy to complete her last 2 years of High School. In order to fulfill her aspirations to be a nurse, Pat attended Saint Joseph School Of Nursing in Louisville. Upon graduation in 1959, she and several classmates moved to Philadelphia to commence their careers as Registered Nurses at Jefferson Hospital. It was there that Pat met the love of her life, Gerald Joseph Quinn (Jerry or Doc). They were married on 29 April 1961 and spent over 50 wonderful years together. They had 2 sons, Jeffrey Michael Quinn and Brian David Quinn. In 1965, they moved to Charleston and she continued her career as an RN in the Level II Nursery at St. Francis Hospital. Pat retired after an incredible career of 22 years caring for, as she referred to them, "her babies".
Pat will always be remembered for her artistic side. Whether she was painting a portrait, decorating the house, or getting her hands dirty in the yard, everything was beautiful and always had her special touch. Furthermore, she was a very passionate, giving, and loving person. It might have been the simplest of gifts for family or friends, the holding and caring of a newborn baby at work, or providing meals for the less fortunate over the holidays, she always gave with all of her heart and all of her love. Pat was preceded in death by Jerry and her youngest son Brian. She is survived by her eldest son Jeff, and her granddaughter Lauren Elizabeth Quinn.

warmth and love.
