Patricia Goodman Gehlken Powell, 72, of Goose Creek, SC, died Sunday, March 1, 2015. Her funeral service will be held Thursday, March 5, 2015 in the J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., Northwoods Chapel, 2180 Greenridge Road at 11:00 am. Interment, Bethany Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm in Stuhr's Northwoods Chapel.

Patricia was born June 3, 1942 in Savannah, Georgia, daughter of the late Harold G. Goodman and Evelyn Edenfield Goodman McDaniel. She was a former member at Cokesbury United Methodist Church; she worked there as an office manager as well as at John Wesley United Methodist Church. She was very active in the Parent Teacher Association and was a past State PTA president.

She is survived by son, Dan L. Gehlken II and his wife Rachel of Goose Creek, SC; grandchild, Stryker Evan Gehlken; brother, Harold Goodman Jr. of Chesapeake, VA; aunt, Roberta Rush of Charleston, SC. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dan L Gehlken I and her second husband, Clinton Powell; brother, Charles Goodman.
