Patricia Ann Paul, 71 of Charleston, SC peacefully entered into eternal rest on February 25, 2026. Patty was born August 20, 1954 in Columbia, SC, daughter of Hans F. Paul and Tina H. Paul.

While Patty faced challenges with cerebral palsy, that certainly did not define her. Among her greatest assets were her unconditional love and kind, humorous spirit. Patty never met a stranger. She loved going to her daily work site. She enjoyed gifting her needlework and crafts, talking on the phone and socializing outdoors. She was a gift to all who knew her.

Patty was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, and nephew, Henry S. Paul. She is survived by a sister, Suzanne Tillman, and a brother, Thomas Paul (Becky). She also leaves behind two nieces, Holly Gorman and Anna Freese, along with their families. Patty's love of family and friends was showcased throughout her life.

The Benton Bend Group Home sponsored by the Charleston County Disabilities Foundation also became her home and family. She was surrounded by staff that mentored, loved and nurtured her. She was especially bonded to her group home sisters, Sylvia, Sarah, and Annie. The family would like to express their immense gratitude to the staff, coordinators, directors, nurses and teachers who strive daily to improve the lives of those under their care.

Funeral Services will be held on March, 21, 2026 at 11:00am at the J. Henry Stuhr West Ashley Chapel - 3360 Glenn McConnell Pkwy. The family will receive friends the hour prior. Interment will immediately follow at Live Oak Memorial Gardens - 3903 Ashley River Road.
