Patty Lucas Bridi

Patty Anne Bridi, 77, of Fredericksburg, Virginia passed away Saturday, July 6, 2024, at her home in Charleston, South Carolina.

Mrs. Bridi grew up in South Charleston, West Virginia, the daughter of Ed and Margaret Lucas. She was a graduate of Charleston Catholic High School and Concord University. After she married, she moved to Fredericksburg, Virginia. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church.

Patty retired after 30 years of teaching at Robert E. Lee Elementary, Montfort Academy, and Chancellor Middle School. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and dogs, reading, and playing cards. 

Patty was preceded in death by her loving husband of more than 44 years, Victor Bridi. She is survived by two children, David John Bridi (Lori) and Anne Margaret Bridi; four grandchildren, Emma, Kylie, Haley and Mickenzie; one sister, Judy Lucas; one brother, Robert Lucas (Connie); one brother in law, Martin Bridi (Sue); one sister in law, Susan Bridi Marchione; two nieces, Katie and Catie; and many other relatives and special friends. 

Funeral Services will be held at St. Mary Catholic Church in Fredericksburg, Virginia at a later date.
