Patricia "Pat" Boles Royall

Mary Patricia "Pat" Boles Royall, 83, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, wife of Charles Millard Royall passed away on Monday, January 19, 2015. Her Funeral Service will be held at 1:30 pm on Saturday, January 24, 2015 in the J. HENRY STUHR, INC. MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL, 1494 Mathis Ferry Road. Interment will follow in Mount Pleasant Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, January 23 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm.

Pat was born September 13, 1931 in Elkin, North Carolina, daughter of the late Alston Boles and Mary Reece Boles. She served for many years in Accounting with WCIV, Channel 4 in Mount Pleasant and was a member of Hibben United Methodist Church. Pat was more than a volunteer for the Charleston County Library, she was a real asset to the library and will be greatly missed. She was also a volunteer at the Gift Shop at East Cooper Medical Center, for which she just recently received a 20-year Award for her service. She loved playing bridge and spending that special time with her friends and family. Pat was an avid reader, and truly enjoyed working in her yard.

She is survived by her husband, Charles Millard Royall of Mount Pleasant, SC; her sons, Jeffrey Boles Royall and his wife, Lori, of Mount Pleasant, SC and Charles Michael Royall of Mount Pleasant, SC; her grandchildren, William Jackson Pennington, IV of Ladson, SC and Megan Royall Leblanc of Ladson, SC; her great-grandson, Bryson Olivier Royall Leblanc; her brother, Michael Alston Boles of NC; and her sister, Barbara Boles Stroud of NC.
