Entered into eternal rest on the morning of May 26, 2010, Patricia Idella Baxter Doyle, wife of Thomas Arthur Doyle. Residence, Seabrook Island, South Carolina. The relatives and friends of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas A. Doyle are invited to attend the funeral services of the latter at The Episcopal Church of Our Saviour, Saturday, May 29, 2010, at twelve-thirty o'clock. Burial will follow in the churchyard. The family will receive friends in the church Fellowship Hall Saturday from eleven o'clock until time of service. Memorials may be made to The Episcopal Church of Our Saviour, 4416 Betsy Kerrison Parkway, Johns Island, SC 29455. Mrs. Doyle was born on November 2, 1932, in Chicago, Illinois, daughter of the late Edward Baxter and Gulie "Goldie" Rasmussen Baxter. She was a retired Execitive Assistant with Arthur J. Gallagher Insurance Brokers and a member of The Episcopal Church of Our Saviour. She attended University of Indiana, was a member of The Altar Guild, Vestry, Chair of Out Reach Committee, Meals on Wheels, member of The League of Women Voters of Seabrook, and Ladies Nine Hole Golf Chair. Surviving are her husband of 57 years of Seabrook Island; three sons, Thomas Edward Doyle of Chicago, IL, Scott Arthur Doyle and wife Carolyn of Mount Ephraim, NJ, Michael John Doyle and wife Mary Ann of Libertyville, IL; a brother, John Baxter and wife Flora of Surfside Beach, SC; six grandchildren, Alison Doyle, Lee Doyle, Brett Doyle, Kevin Doyle, Mary Patricia Doyle, and Jennifer Doyle; and a great-grandson, Maxwell Scott Watzlawick. Mrs. Doyle was predeceased by her sister, Diane Daniels Hayden. Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR, INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL.
