Patricia A. Dodds Cronk

Patricia A. Dodds Cronk, 92, of Mt Pleasant, South Carolina, widowed by Russell H. Dodds, and also her second husband Julian Cronk, entered into eternal rest Saturday, August 5, 2023. Her Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, August 9, 2023 in Hibben United Methodist Church, 690 Coleman Boulevard at 11:00 am.  Interment will follow in Live Oak Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Tuesday in the J. Henry Stuhr Inc., Mount Pleasant Chapel, 1494 Mathis Ferry Road, from 6:00 until 8:00 pm.  

Pat was born October 23, 1930 in Webster, South Dakota, daughter of the late Virgil Carlis and the late Leona Thornhill Carlis. While living in South Dakota, Wyoming, California and South Carolina, Pat traveled many miles in her younger years, camping, hiking, and enjoying Federal and State parks throughout United States. She was active in her church, singing in the choir, working with missions, women's societies, and Sunday school. Pat volunteered in schools, Cub Scouts and within the church. She never met a stranger and enjoyed visiting with everyone.  

She is survived by three daughters, Jeanne Dodds Drose (Chuck) of Mount Pleasant, SC, Kathleen Dodds Gibbs (Vincent) of Mt Pleasant, SC, and Diana Harper-Morton (Robert) of Raleigh, NC; two sons, Roger Dodds (Barbara) of Blythewood, SC, and David Dodds (Beth) of Mt. Pleasant, SC; eight grandsons, Matthew Dodds (Kristy), Daniel Dodds, Bryan Dodds (Trisha), Charles Bryant (Charlotte), Russell Bryant (Julie), Brett Bryant, Austin Harper (Katie), and Evan Harper (Claire); four granddaughters, Patricia Holmes (Gilbert), Leslie Drose, Maribeth Dodds, and Kathryn Dodds-McIntosh (Kipper); and ten great-grandchildren, Miriam, Larry, Luke, Thomas, Arthur, Everett, Gideon, Juniper, Beatrice, and Mason.
