Patricia Lynn Chassereau

Patricia Lynn Chassereau, 65, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, wife of Clyde Evan Chassereau Jr. entered into eternal rest Wednesday, September 3, 2025. Her Funeral Service will be held Saturday, September 13, 2025, in the J. Henry Stuhr Inc., Mount Pleasant Chapel, 1494 Mathis Ferry Road at 2:00 pm. The family will receive friends an hour before the service.

Born on April 19, 1960, in Charleston, she graduated from St. Andrews High School and dedicated over 35 years to the Town of Mount Pleasant Water Department, where she not only excelled in her role but also broke barriers as one of the first female meter readers. Patricia concluded her career in the Billing Department, leaving behind a legacy of dedication and service.

Patricia's family often referred to her as the "rock" of their household and she was affectionately nicknamed "Sweet Potato" by her daughter. Patricia enjoyed moments spent at the beach and by the pool, the color purple and watching "The Bachelor". Her love for animals was evident, with her beagle, Sasha, and a cat named Stormie bringing her great happiness.

She was survived by her husband, Clyde Evan Chassereau; children, Jason Dale Matthews, Sr. (Tonya), Christopher Craig Matthews, Jennifer Lynn Chassereau; and grandchildren, Jason Dale Matthews, Jr., and Hailey Elaina Matthews.

Flowers will be accepted.
