Patricia McClary Baker, 71, wife of Melvin Baker, Sr. of Mount Pleasant, passed away on Saturday, July 14, 2012. Relatives and friends of Patricia Baker are invited to attend a Memorial Service on Tuesday, July 17, 2012, at 2:00 pm in the J. HENRY STUHR, INC. MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL, 1424 Mathis Ferry Road, Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina.

Patricia was born in Charleston County on August 18, 1940 to Jesse Smith McClary and Ruby Mae Hiott McClary. Patricia worked as a child care provider in her home.

She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Melvin C. Baker, Sr. of Mount Pleasant, SC; son, Melvin Carlos Baker, Jr. (Wanda) of Mount Pleasant, SC, Curtis Glenn Baker (Cindy Cox) of Myrtle Beach, SC, daughter, Teresa Eade (Darryl) of Mount Pleasant, SC, sister, Dot Coley, brother, Billy McClary (Betty), brother, Jessie McClary (Mary), sister, Lucille Harden, sister, Shirley Woodside (Bob), sister, Frances Tyler, brother, Ricky McClary (Jean), eight grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.
