Pansy Lee McCall Simpson, 84, of Johns Island, South Carolina, widow of Robert Harrell Simpson, entered into eternal rest Thursday, August 14, 2014. Her Funeral Service will be held Sunday, August 17, 2014 in J. HENRY STUHR, INC. WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL at 2:00 pm. Interment will be private. The family will receive friends Saturday from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm in Stuhr's West Ashley Chapel, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway, Charleston.

Pansy was born December 8, 1929 in Tifton, Georgia, daughter of the late William T. McCall and Mary Shepherd McCall. She was a member of St. Johns Methodist Church and was a retired Elementary School Teacher. Pansy was a member of the Charleston Decorative Painters and Harmon Club.

She is survived by her daughters, Marcia Steckel of Johns Island, SC and Vicki Boyer of Johns Island, SC; sons, Thomas Preston Simpson of Rocky Point, NC and Robert David Simpson of Johns Island, SC; sister, Joyce Ann Hutt of Tifton, GA; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Pansy is preceded in death by a daughter, Robin K. Simpson.
