Pamela Marie Edwards Stout entered into eternal rest on Sunday, May 17, 2026, at the age of 77. Born on November 1, 1948, in Huron, South Dakota, Pamela was the devoted daughter of the late Harold Edwards and the late Myrtle Stacey Edwards.

Throughout her life, Pamela embraced her vocation as a registered nurse with unwavering compassion and dedication. Beyond her professional commitments, she found joy in the simple pleasures of life, including her love for cleaning and frequent visits to Harbortown, which brought her great happiness and a sense of community.

Pamela is survived by her loving husband, Richard Craig Stout, with whom she shared a life filled with love and partnership. She is also survived by her children, Clarence Ballou Edwards Stout of Hilton Head and Annabelle Courtney Edward Stout of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. Her family circle extends to her sister, Lorraine Altizer, and her husband David of Fort Wayne, Indiana; niece, Sarah Altizer; nephew, Matthew Altizer and his wife Sarah; as well as her sister-in-law, Margo Edwards of Forestburg, South Dakota, sister-in-law, Charlene Elder and her children Kim Elder of Atlanta, GA, Mitch Elder of Hilton Head Island, SC, and Darren Elder and his wife, Michelle of Tampa, FL.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Dwayne Edwards, and brother-in-law, Donald Elder
