Pamela Blair Hoyt, 70, of Charleston, South Carolina, wife of David Lee Hoyt entered into eternal rest Sunday, October 4, 2026.

Pam was born January 9, 1956 in Hanover, New Hampshire, daughter of the late Richard L. Dobson and Marie C. Dobson.

Pam was a loving wife, daughter, sister and the best “aunt Pammy” anyone could ask for. After earning her degree in social work, she put her education to good use - often “directing” her family with plenty of humor, and, of course, her own way of doing things. She loved her family with her whole heart. We will always cherish her words of wisdom, great advice, famous banana bread, her Christmas cookies and those late night, baking marathons that became treasured family memories. Her love, laughter and kindness will be deeply missed and forever cherished.

In addition to her devoted and loving husband, David, Pam is survived by her brother, Rick Dobson and his wife, Camille, and her sister, Lisa Craven, and her husband Chris. She also leaves behind four beautiful nieces and one nephew: Ryan Ennis and her husband, Jonathan, Marissa, Cummins and her husband, Michael, Nikki Craven, and her partner, Brandon, Julia Gould and her husband, Edward, and Jason Craven and his partner, Jacqui.
