Pamela (Pam) Adams Carroll

Pamela (Pam) Adams Carroll, of Charleston, South Carolina, beloved wife of Steven Lewis Carroll, lost her valiant battle with cancer on February 13, 2025, at the age of 65. Born on May 20, 1959, in Memphis, Tennessee, Pam was the cherished daughter of the late Joe Carl Adams. A professional dedicated to healthcare and the well-being of others, she served for 34 years as an administrator at MD Anderson Cancer Center, Washington University in St. Louis and The University of Alabama at Birmingham.

Throughout her life, Pam engaged meaningfully with her community. She was an active member of Providence Church on Daniel Island, serving as part of the handbell choir and holding numerous leadership positions in the church, including serving as Church Moderator. She was also the past president of the MUSC Women's Club and always had an unwavering passion for service and people. 

Pam is lovingly remembered by her husband of 47 years, Steve Carroll of Daniel Island; and two daughters, Heather Carroll of The Woodlands, TX; and Kristen Wasieleski (Eric) of Elmhurst, IL; as well as her four grandchildren, Charlotte, Sophia, Alice, and Mackenzie Wasieleski, who were a source of immense joy in her life. Pam's legacy of kindness, leadership, and devotion to family and community will continue to inspire all those who were fortunate enough to know her. 

The family will receive friends for her visitation at J. Henry Stuhr, Mount Pleasant Chapel, Friday, February 21, 2025 from 5:00 - 7:00 pm. A funeral service will be held Saturday, February 22, 2025 in J. Henry Stuhr, Inc, Mount Pleasant Chapel, 1494, Mathis Ferry Rd at 11:00 am, followed by interment in Mt. Pleasant Memorial Gardens.
