Page Harmer Thomas, 89, of Charleston, South Carolina, wife of Dr. John David Thomas entered into eternal rest Sunday, January 23, 2022. Her funeral service will be held Saturday, January 29, 2022 in Harborview Presbyterian Church, 900 Harborview Road at 10:00 a.m. Interment, Holy Cross Cemetery. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Downtown Chapel.
Page was born November 2, 1932 in Clarksburg, West Virginia, daughter of the late Hardin R. Harmer and Virginia Gibbons Harmer. She was a graduate of Stuart Hall in Staunton, VA and a graduate of West Virginia University, where she was a Kappa Kappa Gamma and very proud of her Mountaineers. Page was a former Librarian at Vanderbilt University and at John Hopkins Medical School. Her greatest work was raising her children. She was an avid golfer, bridge player, and enjoyed playing poker with her friends. She was a long-standing member of Harborview Presbyterian Church.
Page is survived by her husband of 67 years, John; two daughters: Molly Bundy (Jason) of Mt. Pleasant, SC and Ann Ronayne (Mike) of Charleston, SC; three sons: Mark Thomas (Catherine Anne) of Atlanta, GA, David Thomas (Candy) of Sharon, SC and Bruce Thomas (Marcy Inman) of Elgin, SC; nine grandchildren: John W. Thomas (Zoey), Mackinzie Jackson (Danny), Rebecca Thomas, Ross Thomas (Britt), Reed Thomas, Virginia Thomas, William Thomas, Andrew Ronayne and Colin Ronayne; and three great-grandchildren: Madison, Campbell and Louise Thomas. She also leaves many nieces and nephews.
