EMC Ottis Watters, USN (Ret.), 89, of Charleston, South Carolina, husband of Lila Mullinax Watters died Sunday, October 28, 2012. A Funeral Service will be held Thursday, November 1, 2012 in J. HENRY STUHR, INC. WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway at 1 pm. Interment, Live Oak Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Wednesday in J. Henry Stuhr West Ashley Chapel between 5 pm until 7 pm.Mr. Watters was born November 9, 1922 in Fidelity, Kentucky, son of the late Willie Watters and the late Rose Coil Watters. He was a World War II veteran and a retired Chief Petty Officer of the U.S. Navy after 22 years. He is survived by his wife, Lila Watters of Charleston, SC; daughter, Nancy W. Allen and huband (Ronald) of Charleston, SC; two granddaughters, Ashley Maxwell and Apsley Allen both of Charleston, SC; a great-grandson, Jackson Maxwell; two sisters, Sue Hill of TN and Christine Watson of KY. He was preceded in death by a son, Roger Watters.
