Orrie Catherine McCutcheon

Orrie Catherine McCutcheon (Moore), 91, of Mt. Pleasant, SC, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on November 13, 2022. She was born on September 23,1931 in Hemingway, SC to the late William Alfred Moore and Mellie Viola Williams. Preceded in death are 4 brothers and 2 sisters.

Catherine retired from Piggly Wiggly as a longtime employee of nearly 30 years. She grew a passion for music while traveling with her family performing gospel hymns and worship music as a child. She had many instruments but her favorite was her guitar. She often would play and sing with friends and family. Catherine attended many gospel shows throughout her life. She loved traveling with her family and collecting thimbles from each state she visited. She was a great cook and often made more than what was needed because "everyone needed to eat!" She loved animals and always had a dog in her home.

She is survived by her children: Tony McCutcheon of Summerville, SC, Tammy McCutcheon (Tom Bellino) of Mt. Pleasant, SC, and Timothy McCutcheon of Summerville, SC; six grandchildren: Amber McWilliams, T.J. McCutcheon, Krista Bellino, Rachel Bellino, Jeffrey Bellino, Tina Ashley Woodcock (Luke Woodcock) and; six great-grandchildren: Damian McWilliams, Bryson McWilliams, Caidyn McWilliams, Matias McCutcheon, Micah McCutcheon, Olivia Zeda, Catherine Kordecki-Woodcock, Lucas Woodcock, Kaitlyn Kordecki-Woodcock, Zoie Woodcock, Alexzander Woodcock; brother, Joseph Earl (Mary Ann) Moore of Seneca, SC.

Visitation is Nov 27th 11:00 to 1:00 with the funeral service to follow 1:00 pm at J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., Northwoods Chapel, 2180 Greenridge Road, North Charleston, SC 29406.  Interment at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, 11904 Pleasant Hill Drive, Hemingway, SC 29554.
