Olga Delores Thomson Brisben

Entered into eternal rest on the evening of September 11, 2010, Olga Delores Thomson Brisben, wife of John McDonald Brisben.  Residence, North Charleston, SC.  Relatives and friends of Mr. and Mrs. John M. Brisben are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial of the latter in St. Johns Catholic Church, 3921 St. Johns Avenue, North Charleston,Wednesday, September 15, 2010 at ten o'clock.  Rite of Committal will follow in Carolina Memorial Park.   Arrangements by J. Mrs. Brisben was born in Charleston, SC, a daughter of John Joseph Thomson and Marie Theresa Hayes Thomson.  She worked as a L.P.N. for many years and retired as office administrator for the Charleston County School System.

She is survived by her husband of North Charleston;  three beloved sons, Harry H. F. "Hootie" Hutson, III  and wife, Ann, of Mt. Pleasant, John David Hutson of Atlantic Beach, FL and Charles Johnathan Brisben of Huger; a daughter-in-law, Jane Hutson of North Charleston; five grandchildren, Todd Christopher Hutson, Samantha Hutson, Catherine Delores Hutson, Ticia June Schaub and husband, Mark, and Lanie Brisben; five great grandchildren, Kristin Hutson Reed and husband, Sean, Tiffany Hutson, Mary Kathrine Hutson, Tress Shaw and Matthew Shaw; close family friend, Mark King-Johnson; and dear friends, Tammi Mathis, Cynthia Hutson Hall, Mrs. Charlotte McDowell, Eucharistic Minister, who faithfully brought and served her Holy Communion every week and brother-in-law, George Henry Brisben.  She was predeceased by a beloved son, Lawrence Robert Hutson and two grandchildren, James Randal Hutson and John David Hutson, Jr.
