Ola Marie Schlichter Leppert

Ola Marie Schlichter Leppert, 76, of Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina, wife of Oscar "Bubba" Leppert died Saturday, June 2, 2018. Her Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, June 6, 2018 in the J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Mount Pleasant Chapel, at 10:00 am. Interment will follow in Mount Pleasant Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral chapel on Wednesday from 9:00 am until time of the service.

Ola was born June 8, 1941 in Emporia, Kansas, daughter of the late Chester Schlichter and Esther Jones Schlichter. She was a retired self-employed seamstress, who loved spending time with grandchildren. She also enjoyed cooking, reading, sewing, and tending to her garden and flowers.

She is survived by her sons, Larry Leppert (Brenda) of Medford, OR, and Mark W. Leppert (Rachael) of Mount Pleasant, SC; her daughter, Nicola Wood (Tim) of Mt. Pleasant, SC; her brother, Keith Schlichter (Rita) of Isle of Palms, SC; her sister, Sally Smith (David) of Seattle, WA; six grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her brother, Orville Schlichter, and her sister, Elaine Lee.
