Odell E. Moore Cloyd, 91, of Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina, wife of the late William "Duke" Mark Cloyd entered into eternal rest Wednesday, June 7, 2023. Her Funeral Service will be held Sunday, June 11, 2023, in the J. Henry Stuhr Inc., Mount Pleasant Chapel, 1494 Mathis Ferry Road at 2:00 pm.  Interment will follow in Mount Pleasant Memorial Gardens, 1308 Mathis Ferry Rd. The family will receive friends Saturday from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the funeral home.

Odell was born November 7, 1931, in Cross, South Carolina, daughter of the late Adam E. Moore and the late Effie E. Mizell Moore. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Mt. Pleasant where she served on the Counting Committee for many years. Odell loved growing flowers and always had a beautiful yard. She loved animals and adopted a feral cat colony. She fed and cared for them for many years. Odell will be remembered for the home she made with her husband, Duke, and the love she shared with her friends and family. 

She is survived by her children, Betty J. Stacks, Patricia MacFarland (Kevin), Sherri Cloyd Cumbee (Kris) and Mark James "Jimmy" Cloyd (Lea) all of Mount Pleasant, SC; grandchildren, Scott Stacks, Dustin Stacks, Kylie MacFarland and Kevin "Kip" MacFarland; great grand-children, Hannah Stacks, Sara Stacks and Annalee Stacks; and her brother, Adam E. Moore. She was preceded in death by her husband, William "Duke" Cloyd, her son-in-law, William Stacks.
