Obie Lee Warren, 80, of Hanahan, South Carolina, husband of Linda Faye Nixon Warren entered into eternal rest Tuesday, January 6, 2026. His Funeral Service will be held Friday, January 9, 2026 at Riverbluff Church, 5421 Riverbluff Parkway at 2:00 pm. Interment will follow at Carolina Memorial Park 7113 Rivers Ave North Charleston. The family will receive friends Friday from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm in Riverbluff Church. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Northwoods Chapel.

Obie, known to his friends as Obi Wan Kenobi, was born August 25, 1945 in North Charleston, South Carolina, son of the late Lawnie Howell Warren Sr. and the late Ruth Jackson Warren. He enjoyed watching sports and he loved the North Carolina Tarheels. Obie never met a stranger and always had a joke to tell. He never met a referee he liked or a road trip he wasn't ready to take. He was a member at Riverbluff Church, where he served as a deacon and spent several years with the church youth group, loving every minute of torturing them with "Revelry Rock". During his time at Riverbluff, he attended two mission trips to Africa.

In addition to his wife of 59 years, he is survived by two daughters: Jill Mason (Danny) of N. Charleston, SC and Susan Brantley (Michael) of Columbia, SC; four grandchildren: Timothy Rickett, Garrett Mason (Skylar), Danielle Mason, and Joseph Brantley; three great-grandchildren: Weston Mason, Wyatt Mason and Kynsleigh Cumbee; sister, Sandra Robinson of Palm Bay, FL; and many loved nieces.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, L.H. Warren, Jr. and brother, Larry Warren.

Memorials may be made to Riverbluff Church, 5421 Riverbluff Parkway North Charleston, SC 29420.
