Norman Eugene Wicke

Norman Eugene Wicke, 80, of Goose Creek, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, November 9, 2023. His inurnment will be held at Whispering Pines Memorial Gardens, 3044 Old Hwy 52, Moncks Corner, SC. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. West Ashley Chapel.

Norman was born July 23, 1943 in St. Cloud, Minnesota, son of the late John Wicke and Evelyn Scott Wicke.  He was a U.S. Navy veteran who served proudly for 29 years. After retiring from the Navy, he worked for ManTech for 10 years.

His service in the U. S. Navy allowed him to travel and live around the world, meeting his wife, Sachiko, while stationed in Japan. Sachiko and Norman have been married for 52 years. He was an avid fisherman and loved to snorkel in his younger years. 

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his three children, daughter Wendy Wicke of Oregon, son Jack (& Stacey) Wicke of Texas, and son David (& Angela) Wicke of Charleston, SC. He leaves behind eight beautiful grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
