Norma Taylor Bain Sexton

The family and friends of Norma Sexton are sad to announce her death on the morning of April 5, 2024. She was at her beloved daughter's home when she passed and surrounded by love till the end. Norma was born on October 2, 1947 and as a lifelong resident of Charleston, Norma attended primary school at Memminger Elementary, Charleston High School and attended the College of Charleston. She worked in the banking business until she left to work along side her husband at his car business, East Coast Imports, she worked with him until his retirement. She is survived by her beloved daughter; Deborah Bain, Wilkinson (Scott), beloved sister; Daisy Bigda, who she referred to as her first born, since she had been like a Mother to her all her life, the two of them were inseparable and a sister Frances Boyd, (Billy) of Texas; and her adored Kitty, Girlie. She had many friends in her life who will miss her but knowing they will all be reunited again in heaven one day, pleases her greatly. Norma was very smart, and had a quirky sense of humor and an amazing green thumb. She is now in more merciful hands.

Her Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, April 9, 2024 in J. Henry Stuhr Inc., West Ashley Chapel, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway at 1:00 pm.  Interment, Riverview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Monday, April 8, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm in Stuhr West Ashley Chapel.  Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. West Ashley Chapel.
