Norma Lee Barrick Pugh, 93, of Charleston, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest Friday, June 30, 2023.  A family Graveside Service will be held later in Oak Hill Cemetery, Riley, Indiana.  Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Mt. Pleasant Chapel
 
Norma was born August 4, 1929 in Brazil, Indiana, daughter of the late Alfred Barrick and Norma Mae Thomas Barrick.  She was a retired admissions administrator who worked at St. Francis hospital for 16 years.  She was also a long time resident of The Canterbury House where she enjoyed the friendship of many, worked at the front desk and rarely missed the weekly bingo games.  
 
The biggest joy in her life came from her family, whom she loved dearly.  She is survived by daughter, Dawn Gordon (Jeff) of Charleston, SC; son, Kenneth E. Pugh (Jennifer) of New Albany, IN; son-in-law, Keith Johnson; eight grandchildren, Kimberly Stiles (Andy), Kelli Cutler (Jeremy), Kris Pugh (Jessica), Wyatt Tapp, Jarod Tapp, Danielle Schellie (Dave), Andrew Gordon (Jamie) and Elise Gordon; thirteen great grandchildren, Eric Stiles, Emily Stiles, Kate Stiles, Maddy Cutler, Sophie Cutler, Emma Pugh, Hadley Pugh, Callum Pugh, Boden Pugh, Gabe Tapp, Cason Tapp, Alexander Tapp and Athena Tapp. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Debbie Johnson.
 
In lieu of flowers, her family asks that donations be made to The Canterbury House residents' fund, which supports resident activities.  Checks made out to The Canterbury House Residents' Fund may be mailed to The Canterbury House, 175 Market St, Charleston, SC 29401.
