Norma Rourk Parler

February 13, 1922 — October 23, 2010

Entered into eternal rest on the morning of October 23, 2010, Mina Norma Rourk Parler, widow of Lewis O'Neil Parler.  Residence, North Charleston, SC.  The relatives and friends are invited to attend her graveside funeral service in Carolina Memorial Park Wednesday, October 27, 2010, at three o'clock.  Friends may call at J. HENRY STUHR, INC., NORTHWOODS CHAPEL, 2180 Greenridge Road, Tuesday between five and seven o'clock.


Mrs. Parler was born February 13, 1922 in Elloree, SC, the daughter of William Aiken Rourk and Zeneta Griffin Rourk.  Norma was a graduate of Elloree High School and Orangeburg Regional Hospital School of Nursing.  She was a member of Highland Park Baptist Church.


She is survived by her son, Thomas O'Neil Parler and his wife, Jeanne Marie Campbell, of Charleston; nieces and nephews.
