Norma Solomon Karesh, 83, of Charleston, South Carolina entered into eternal rest Thursday, August 31, 2017. Her funeral service will be held graveside, Friday, September 1, 2017 in Emanu-El Cemetery (Maryville), Sycamore Avenue at 11:00 a.m. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Downtown Chapel.
Norma was born November 23, 1933 in Charleston, South Carolina, daughter of the late Israel Solomon and Molly Solomon Solomon. She graduated from the High School of Charleston, attended Rice Business College and was a member of Synagogue Emanu-El.
Norma is survived by her daughter, Carrol Karesh of Charleston, SC, two sons: Randy Karesh (Debbie) of Atlanta, GA and Edmund Karesh (Angie) of Charleston, SC; seven grandchildren: Matthew Karesh, Meryl Karesh, Kelsey Rowe Beyl, Tori Rowe Burke, Ellison Karesh, Kolby Karesh, and Sophia Karesh; and four great-grandchildren: Madison Burke, Skyler Rowe, Harbor Barrickman and Tate Beyl..
