Nora F. Norman

Nora F. Norman, 102, of Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina, widow of the late Edwin C. (Sam) Norman entered into eternal rest Wednesday, August 21, 2024. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, August 30, 2024 in Stella Maris Catholic Church, 1204 Middle St., Sullivan's Island at 11:00 am. Burial with military honors will follow in Mt. Pleasant Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., Mt. Pleasant Chapel.

Nora was born January 20, 1922 in Green Bay, Wisconsin, daughter of the late George and Frances Linzmier. She attended schools in Wisconsin, was an Army veteran, and was employed by the U. S. Navy Department for 34 years, retiring from the Naval Supply Center, Charleston, S.C. She was a life-time member of the Ladies Auxiliary VFW Post #10624, Mt. Pleasant, S.C., a member of the National Association of Retired Federal Employees Chapter 1013, and a member of Christ Our King Catholic Church, Mt. Pleasant. 

She is survived by nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband; sister, Frances Piette; and brothers, George, Charles, and Arnold Freix, all of Algoma, Wisconsin.

Flowers will be greatly accepted, or memorials may be made to Christ Our King Catholic Church, 1149 Russell Dr., Mt. Pleasant, SC 29464.
