Nora Christina Eleta Zamarripa, 80, of Charleston, SC, entered into eternal rest Friday, April 16, 2021. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. in J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. West Ashley Chapel, 3360 Glenn McConnell Pkwy. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, April 22, 2021 in the St. Joseph Catholic Church, 1695 Raoul Wallenberg Blvd. at 11:00 a.m.
Nora was born January 19, 1941 in Panama City, daughter of the late Carlos Eustorgio Eleta Robles and Maria Christina Rojas de Eleta. She left Panama and came to the United States with her husband Raphael. Nora was a volunteer for the Salvation Army for over 20 years.
She is survived by her partner, Charles R. Cadieu; sister, Cecilia Eleta de Miró; nephews, Javier Miró Eleta, Juan Carlos Eleta, Antonio Miró Eleta, José Antonio Eleta Morales, Walter Eleta, and Tomas Eduardo García Eleta; nieces, Gabriela del Carmen Eleta Morales, Milvia Tamara Eleta Morales, Gabriela Elvira García Eleta; other nieces and nephews; and dear friend, Alexis Kong-Van De Wiel.
Nora was preceded in death by her sister, Karina Elvira Eleta Rojas; brothers: José Antonio Eleta Rojas, Walter Eustorgio Eleta Rojas, Joaquin Eleta Rojas, and Eduardo Eleta Rojas; and niece, Cristina Maria Garcia Eleta.
