Nolie Lee Gaskins

Nolie Lee Mitchum Gaskins, 83, wife of the late Willie Troy Gaskins, passed away on Monday, June 28, 2010.  The relatives and friends of Nolie Gaskins are invited to attend her Funeral Service in J. HENRY STUHR MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL on Thursday, July 1, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow in Halfway Creek Cemetery, Jamestown. The family will receive friends at the Mount Pleasant Chapel on Wednesday, June 30, 2010  from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Mrs. Gaskins was born March 16, 1927 in Huger, South Carolina, daughter of the late George Buck Mitchum and Ella Deas Mitchum.  She was a homemaker and loved to spend time with her family and friends. She was also a member of the Pentecostal Holiness Church of Mt. Pleasant. She is survived by her children, Sarah Louise Morris of Cordesville, SC, Andrew Troy Gaskins of Awendaw, SC, George "Boysum" Junior Gaskins of Huger, SC and Mary E. Just of Jamestown, SC.  She was preceded in death by her daughter, Willilee Nichols.  She is also survived by her half brother, Thomas Wyndham of Mt. Pleasant, SC; her sisters, Mary Pugh of Wilmington, NC, Georgina Fuller of Leland, NC and Georgialee Watkins of Leland, NC; twenty one grand children, thirty great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her brothers, Wesley Mitchum, Troy Mitchum, Roy Mitchum, General Mitchum, Joyner Mitchum, Allen Mitchum, and Jack Mitchum; and her sisters, Maggie Pritchard, Gertrude Wirth, and Neveline Sanchez.
