Nicholas Sebastian Herron, 41, of Charleston, South Carolina, husband of Anne Middleton Herron entered into eternal rest Wednesday, February 7, 2018.
Nicholas was born August 4, 1976 in Belfast, Northern Ireland, to Sheelagh and John Herron. In his youth, his family moved from Jamaica, where he spent his childhood, to Charleston. He was a member of St. Philip's Church. He attended Bishop England High School and the College of Charleston. Nicholas was an entrepreneur from a young age. His first business, started at age eight, was the foundation of his many ventures, among which are Herron Properties, Charleston Ghost Hunt, and Bike Taxi. He was a member of the Carolina Yacht Club, Hibernian Society and Sea Island Yacht Club. He was a devoted father with a kind spirit. He was at his best on the water, or when surrounded by his family and his many friends who love him and miss him greatly.
He is survived by his wife, Anne; daughter, Elizabeth Blakely Herron; son, Nicholas Sebastian Herron, Jr. of Charleston, SC; his parents, John and Sheelagh Herron of San Miguel d'Allende, GTO, Mexico; sisters: Natasha Herron of San Miguel d'Allende, GTO Mexico; and Kate and her husband, John Griffin of Charleston, SC; nephew Gabriel and niece Lydia of San Miguel D'Allende, GTO Mexico.
His funeral service will be held Tuesday, February 13, 2018 in St. Philip's Church, 142 Church Street at 1:00 p.m. Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR, INC. DOWNTOWN CHAPEL.
