Nell Sanders McIntosh, 95, of Summerville, SC, entered into eternal rest Saturday, October 15, 2022. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, October 19, 2022 in The Village at Summerville Chapel, 201 West 9th North Street, Summerville, at 1:00 pm.  Interment will follow at Carolina Memorial Park, 7113 Rivers Avenue, North Charleston. The family will receive friends Tuesday, October 18, 2022 at J. Henry Stuhr Inc., Northwoods Chapel from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm.

Nell was born May 26, 1927 in Barnwell, SC, daughter of Wade  Hampton  Sanders and Mary Ella Sanders. She was a resident of the Village at Summerville and a member of Yeamans Park Presbyterian Church. She retired from the Charleston Naval Shipyard. 

She is survived by her son, LeRoy E. McIntosh, Jr.; two daughters, Rose Marie Lankford (Clayton) and Pamela Durrett (Terry), five grandchildren, Brian and Jennifer Lankford, April Branch,  Taylor Durrett (Franchesca), Mara Schroeder (Destin); and six great-grandchildren.
