Nancy M Waller

Nancy M Waller, 83, of Charleston, South Carolina, wife of the late  Hudson Ayles Waller, entered into eternal rest Monday, January 29, 2024. Her memorial service will be held Saturday, February 10, 2024, in the Westminster Presbyterian Church, 1157 Sam Rittenberg Blvd, Charleston, SC 9407, at 1 p.m.  Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Nancy was born December 3, 1940 in Anderson, South Carolina, daughter of the late James D. McCoy and Abbie Buck McCoy.  She was a graduate of Agnes Scott College in Decatur, Georgia and then received her Juris Doctor from the University of South Carolina in Columbia, South Carolina. She retired from the Federal Government's Office of Hearings and Appeals in 2010 after over forty years of service.  She enjoyed travel, playing bridge, reading, and spending time with her family. 

She is survived by her daughter, Leslie W Jonsson of Charleston, SC;  her son in law, William T. Jonsson, and her Grandsons Erik and Kyle Jonsson of Charleston, SC.  She is also survived by her brother and sister-in-law, James D. McCoy and Bevelyn McCoy and their adult children, James "Jimmy" McCoy and Julie McCoy.  

In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by her half brother, Norman Frederick Holcomb and her parents James D. McCoy and Catherine Buck McCoy. 

Memorials may be made to Agnes Scott College.
