Nancy Irvine Thames

Entered into eternal rest on the morning of August 10, 2010, Nancy Irvine Thames, wife of Jack Conard Thames Sr. of Charleston, South Carolina.  The family of Mr. and Mrs. Thames will receive friends at J. HENRY STUHR, INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL this Thursday, August 12, 2010 from five until seven o'clock.  Funeral and entombment services will be private.  Memorials may be made in memory of Nancy Thames to Pet Helpers, 1447 Folly Road, James Island, SC  29412.

Mrs. Thames was born on January 25, 1935 in McKeesport, Pennsylvania, daughter of the late Albert L. Irvine and Madelyn Celisha Irvine.  She was retired from Belk and was of the Episcopal faith. 

Surviving are her husband Jack of Charleston; son, Dennis R. James, II of Prosperity, SC; two daughters, Melanie Evans of Ladson, SC and Lori Collins of Charleston; two stepchildren, Jack Thames Jr. of Mt. Pleasant and Janet Figueroa of Seneca, SC; two brothers, Gary Irvine of Awendaw, SC and Dale Irvine of Greer, SC; and nine grandchildren.
