Nancy Murray Singletary

Entered into eternal rest on the morning of July 30, 2010, Nancy Murray Singletary, widow of Arthur Ray Singletary.  Residence, Hanahan, SC.  The relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral services Monday at ten-thirty o'clock in Highland Park Baptist Church.  Interment, Carolina Memorial Gardens.  Friends may call at J. HENRY STUHR, INC., GREENRIDGE ROAD, Sunday between five and seven o'clock.

Nancy was born February 5, 1939 in Charleston, SC, the daughter of Joseph B. Murray and Lola Benton Murray Kennon.  She was a member of Highland Park Baptist Church. She retired as Director of North Charleston United Methodist Daycare and was affectionately known by many of the children as "Nanny".

She is survived by her son: Jeffrey D. Singletary (Cathy) of Charleston, SC; one daughter: Teresa S. Boston (Richard) of Alpharetta, GA; four grandchildren: Catherine, Douglas, Raylynn and Anna Rose; one step-sister: Susan Kennon of Hanahan, SC.
