Nancy Brayford O'Brien, 76, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, wife of the late John "Jack" O'Brien passed away on Friday, March 27, 2015. A private family service will be held. Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR, INC. MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL.
Nancy was born July 13, 1938 in Mahoney City, Pennsylvania, daughter of the late Charles Brayford and Salome Griffith Brayford. She was a registered nurse for 40 years. She enjoyed knitting and making Christmas ornaments for her family, who dearly loved her and will miss her so much. Nancy especially loved shopping for her granddaughters.
She is survived by her daughter, Cathleen Brannigan and her husband, Thomas of Mount Pleasant, SC; her granddaughters, Kelly Elizabeth Brannigan and Erin Melissa Brannigan, both of Mount Pleasant, SC; and her brothers, Charles Brayford of Frackville, PA and William Brayford of Lakeview, PA.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Roper Saint Francis Hospice, 1483 Tobias Gadson Blvd., Suite 208 Charleston, SC 29407.
