Nancy Jane Hair

Nancy Jane Freer Hair, 70, of Goose Creek, SC, the wife of William A. Hair died the morning of Sunday, February 20, 2011.

Born September 23, 1940 in Cleveland, Ohio, she was one of three children of Robert and Eunice Freer.   

Nancy was a devoted Christian, loving wife, mother and grandmother.

Nancy is survived by her husband of 43 years, William of Goose Creek, SC; three sons: Robert W. Hair and partner Steven of Boston, MA, Jeffery A. Hair and his wife Karen of Asheville, NC and Peter T. Hair and his wife Marianne of Summerville, SC; four grandchildren: David, Anna Rose, Kofi and Gil; brother, George Freer and his wife Marti and sister, Martha Ward and her husband Bruce, all of Indiana.

The funeral service will be held in Miles Road Baptist Church, 816 Miles Road, Summerville on Thursday, February 24, 2011 at 2:00 PM.  Interment will follow in Plantation Memorial Gardens.  The family will receive friends in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., NORTHWOODS CHAPEL, 2180 Greenridge Road, Wednesday between 5:00 pm and 7:00 pm.
