Nancy Rowan Ferguson

Entered into eternal rest on the morning of February 15, 2011 Nancy Rowan Ferguson, widow of Barton Wayne Ferguson.  Residence, Charleston, SC.  The family will receive friends at the residence, 1640 Shefield Street, Friday evening, February 18, 2011.  Arrangements by J. Mrs. Ferguson was born May 6, 1928 in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania, daughter of the late Jay Gould Rowan and the late Flossie Mae Lee Rowan.  She retired with 36 years of service with ATT and Southern Bell and was a member of First Christian Church.

She is survived by a daughter, Myrna Jay Hanna and her husband Kenneth of McCormick, SC; a sister, Tula Lee "Polly" Caldwell of New Castle, VA; and a grandson, David Barton of Greenwood, SC.
